When we feel overwhelmed, stressed or anxious with whatever may be going on in our lives right now, let’s try to remember that it is ok to cry, it’s ok to feel our emotions and it’s ok to try to be still for a moment. We have to practice checking our thoughts and noticing what feeling our thoughts are creating within ourselves. That’s why we practice so much different breathing techniques in class to help us slow down our thinking for a moment. As we focus on our breath we can try to take a look at our thoughts from a distance so that we may discover which thoughts are positive or negative at the time. These precious moments of looking within ourselves can help us to refocus. To re-write or create a better thought and to focus on higher things and the ways in which God can help us and bring us comfort.
The path of focusing on the negative, complaining, feeling discouraged and angry is always easier but definitely not rewarding. We often allow the emotions or judgments of others to affect us, when we already know that we can’t control what anyone else does or says. Or when we realize that there are things in life that we just cannot control at all. We have to practice giving those things to God and re-focusing our energy on certain moments on the things we can control. Such as what we think, say or do.
That is where our power comes in. When we realize that we can hang some of our pain and stress or anxiety to God. We can hand Him all of it if we really want to. We can trust Him and honor God and ourselves by choosing a better thought, a better emotion a better action. We deserve to focus on peace. We deserve to feel love, God wants us to feel His light, Love and peace. But he can only do that for us as long as we’re willing to hand things over to Him and let him take care if the things we can’t control and also to help us empower us and encourage us to focus on the things we can control by having access to His Divine help. Whom better to trust than the God who created us and the God who has control of the things we do not. Let’s love ourselves enough to try to practice giving our pain to God and allowing ourselves to focus on what is healing, on what is good and on what bring light and peace to our hearts, minds and souls.
Philippians 4:13 Says; I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Do we really believe that we can do ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS US? He speaks to us Individually, letting us know that WE CAN! that we can overcome the pain, the sorrow, the depression, anxiety, stress or anything else. Christ has suffered it ALL, HE CAN OVERCOME IT ALL. And He can help us, strengthen us and fill us with His daily divine light to be able to do so. What is required of us is to have a desire! To want to hand it over to Him. To pray and ask believing that He will carry those things for us and allow us to have more peace, light and his divine love to help us lighten our load.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
There are so many amazing scriptures to remind us that God is with us and that He can get us through anything we may be facing. What’s important, is that we choose to trust in His words and to allow those words to come over us, to empower us and to fill us with His strength. So that we may be able to continue moving forwarding in light, love and in positive energy for ourselves and for whatever we may be facing. Trust in God and changing our thoughts to be aligned to His and His will for our lives, will make all the difference.
So today, let’s remind ourselves and say to ourselves; “I CAN!” I can overcome all things through Christ who strengthens me! I can do this, I can get through today or ONE DAY AT A TIME. Inviting Gods love and peace to be with me. “I can do this because I choose love for myself, I choose to honor God and what He can do for me. To take this away from me. I trust Him. I believe in what He can do for me and in what I can do to heal and help myself.”
God wants to remind you that through Him you can do MORE! He wants to remind you that you’re loved by your creator, that your Father in Heaven and your Savior know all of your pain and all that you experience and go through. Your Savior Jesus Christ wants you to feel His hands in your life, His live and His healing power. God knows and sees the work that you do. He knows when you’re weak and tired and wants you to remember to look to Him for help. His Angel will be around you to strengthen you and help you. You will be able to choose good thoughts, feelings and actions to move you from one moment to the next t or one day to the next. Don’t run faster than you can but remember to slow down and focus on that being in the universe who has all the control. Give it all to Him, trust Him. Get to know Him from moment to moment and you’ll feel the difference in your life, in what you choose to focus on and in how you spend your time. He knows your heart and is ready and willing to help you through it All.
Believe in yourself, and in your ability to choose to focus on the good. keep your eyes centered on what God would want you to do for yourself and for those around you TODAY. Keep your heart focused on the Love of God so that you may experience MORE LOVE for yourself. Focus today on feeling Gods love in the smallest little things, like the air you breathe, the plants you see, the animals and the children around you. The light and love of God is all around you! How much of it can you see or focus on? 💛
Our Spiritual goal for ourselves today is to “check in” With ourselves each hour, to take some deep breaths and re-focus our energy on what we want to feel. Ask yourself, how do I want to show up for myself and others during this hour? Remind yourself I CAN DO THIS! I can do all things through Christ who Strengthens me….Whatever your goal is, remember to give yourself the gift of encouragement, love and alignment with God to remain positive. You’ve got this & YOU CAN DO THIS with your divine God and Heavenly Friend.
Our physical go for the week is to remain in alignment with our health goals. Focus on the good healthy foods you can eat and how good they are for your body. Don’t tell yourself you can’t have that! Etc…Instead tell yourself you choose not to have it because you’d rather choose something healthier for yourself. Tonight in class we’ll talk a little more about this.
Hope that you can make it to class tonight at 7 PM to strengthen your Body, Mind and Spirit! Motivate yourself to do this for YOU! Because you love yourself enough to make the time for it and because you deserve to Release stress and recharge your energy. I promise you won’t regret it. But instead you’ll leave feeling renewed mentally, physically and spiritually.
