You Are Enough ♥️

At some point in life, we all face feelings of inadequacy. Maybe you feel like you’re not measuring up as a parent, spouse, student, or disciple of Christ. You might compare yourself to others and feel like you fall short. These feelings can be overwhelming, but the truth is—you are enough, just as you are, because you are a child of God.

Part of our journey on this earth is to recognize where these feelings come from and to learn how to overcome them.

Feelings of not being good enough often stem from unrealistic expectations, comparison, or fear of failure. The adversary wants you to believe that you are not worthy, that you will never be enough, and that your efforts don’t matter. But Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ see you differently. They see your potential, your goodness, and your efforts, even when you don’t.

So, take a moment to take some deep breath and remind yourself that you’re doing better than you think. Try to remind yourself of your blessings and that God loves you and will always be here for you.

President Russell M. Nelson has taught:

“You are a son or daughter of God. He is your Heavenly Father. He loves you. He and His Son, Jesus Christ, have a plan for you. They will do everything within Their power that you will let Them do to help you.”

Your worth is not dependent on your accomplishments, talents, or what the world says about you. Your worth is inherent because you are a child of God. He loves you unconditionally, and nothing can change that.

We can also remind ourselves that we can rely on Christ’s Grace.

Sometimes we feel like we have to be perfect to be accepted by God. But perfection isn’t the requirement—progress is. The Savior’s Atonement is there to lift you, strengthen you, and help you grow. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Lord reminds us:

“My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”

You don’t have to do it all on your own. Christ fills in the gaps. He strengthens your weaknesses and makes you more than you could ever be on your own.

Here are some ways to overcome feelings of not being good enough:

1. Pray for Help – Pour out your heart to Heavenly Father. He understands your struggles and wants to help you see yourself as He does.

2. Stop Comparing – Social media and the world often show only the highlight reels of others’ lives. Focus on your journey and the progress you are making.

3. Focus on What You Can Do – Instead of dwelling on what you lack, recognize what you do well. Celebrate your strengths and accomplishments, no matter how small.

4. Serve Others – Sometimes, the best way to overcome negative feelings about yourself is to lift someone else. Service helps us feel God’s love and reminds us that we have value.

5. Fill Your Mind with Truth – Read the scriptures, listen to uplifting talks, and surround yourself with positive influences that remind you of your divine worth.

6. Be Patient with Yourself – Growth takes time. Heavenly Father doesn’t expect perfection overnight. Give yourself grace, just as He does.

Remember That God Sees You Differently Than You See Yourself

One of the most beautiful examples of this is found in the story of Gideon in the Old Testament. Gideon saw himself as weak and incapable, but when the angel of the Lord appeared to him, he called him a “mighty man of valor” (Judges 6:12). God saw who he could become, not just who he was at that moment.

The same is true for you. You are not defined by your doubts, fears, or past mistakes. You are defined by your divine potential and the love God has for you.

You Are Enough, Because You Are His. ❤️

If you’re struggling with feelings of inadequacy, remember this: You are doing better than you think you are. Your efforts matter. You are loved beyond measure. And with Christ, you are always enough.

Whenever you feel like you’re not measuring up, turn to Him. He will remind you of your worth, strengthen your heart, and help you see yourself the way He sees you. Keep going—He is with you every step of the way.

“Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.” (Isaiah 43:1)

This week the goal is to be kind and loving to ourselves. Talk to yourself as you would talk to your friend or someone you love. Stop talking to yourself negatively and instead remind yourself of the love that God has for you. Your blessings and of your divine worth which you brought with you from Heaven and will remain with you FOREVER.

Hope to see you in class tonight at 7pm to strengthen yourself physically, mentally and spiritually 🥰❤️

An Attitude Of Gratitude 💖

Gratitude is one of the most overlooked tools that we all have access to every day. Cultivating gratitude doesn’t cost any money and it certainly doesn’t take much time, but the benefits are enormous.

Did you know that just by being grateful you can shield yourself from negativity? One study shows that being grateful can instantly make you at least 25% happier, it rewires your brain, eliminates stress, strengthens your relationship with yourself and others and it increases your mental strength.

Not only that, but God wants to remind you that He wants you to focus on gratitude instead of focusing on the things that don’t seem to be working right in your life. He has promised us this; “And he who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious; and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundred fold, yea, more.” (D&C 78:19) How amazing that God has promised us that as we focus on gratitude, He will bless us with even more than what we have now.

The more we’re able to practice gratitude the more we will invite joy into our lives. Practicing gratitude is the part that will really change our lives. So, how can you make this a part of your daily life? You can start first thing in the morning by thanking God for a new opportunity of having a new day, for your gifts and blessings. You can also have a gratitude journal to help you notice the daily blessings. Throughout the day you can have moments to just breathe and be in that feeling of gratitude. Or you can make it a point during your family dinner to say one thing you’re each thankful for. All of these things will invite joy into your life and the life of your loved ones and it will also add the physical and spiritual benefits of being grateful.

So, If you’ve been feeling stressed and overwhelmed please take a moment to stop what you’re doing, to have a second to just close our eyes and to take a few deep breaths….Just taking a moment to be thankful for this simple ability to take in a breath is all you need to focus on. With each breath that comes into our body we can experience deeper and deeper feelings of gratitude for all that we have and for all that we’ve received from God. We can allow those breaths to strengthen us and to renew and energize our body, our mind and our spirit. Remember, focus on your blessings. You’re in charge of controlling how you feel and what to focus on. Let it be for your benefit and for your inner peace.

The goal for this week is to be thankful DAILY ☀️When you start feeling stressed take a moment to count your blessings instead. Think about the simple gift of life. The way your body functions, the fact that you’re able to be on this earth today, that you can breathe, be here and present with everything that surrounds you. The more that you focus on those things the more you’ll bring peace into each moment. The more stress will disappear and you’ll be able to feel peaceful, joyful and instead focused on the abundant blessings that God has given you.

St. John 14: 18 says
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
One of the ways in which we can feel the comfort of God is by expressing gratitude to Him and by being willing to trust in the promise that He will never leave us comfortless. Gratitude will allow us to open our eyes to see more of the blessings that God has given us and in return It will allow us to strengthen our relationship with Him. To trust Him more and to believe in His will and goodness for our lives.

This will allow us to stop fearing and instead have more faith in Him and in ourselves. Once we’re able to do that, we can then help Him to reach out to others in gratitude to testify of His goodness and to be a light and a blessing to those around us. We have to CHOOSE to live from a place of gratitude. This power is truly renewing and it will affect so many areas of our life.

The benefits of gratitude not only bring health and mental strength into our lives. It also adds confidence in God and in ourselves that will allow us to have a way more joyful, enjoyable and peaceful life. We will be better able to help ourselves and others on our journey, and it will remind us daily of the love of God. The choice is yours, let gratitude be your blessing today.

Unfortunately CLASS IS CANCELLED TONIGHT. But we will resume again next week. 🙂 I hope that you can still make time to take care of your body, mind and spirit this week 🫶🏼

Our spiritual goal for this week is to keep a gratitude journal or to express our gratitude daily and see how we feel after doing that for one week.

Our physical goal is to cut out the sugary drinks and sugary snacks. At least for one week try drinking more water and lowering the sugar intake and see how you feel. It may be hard at first, but proving to yourself that you can keep this promise to yourself will lift your self esteem and remind you that you can make better changes for your health.

TODAY, FOCUS ON THE THINGS THAT MATTER MOST, BE GRATEFUL AND TAKE IT ONE MOMENT AT A TIME. ONE CHOICE AT A TIME, ONE DAY AT A TIME. HAVING AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE FOR ALL THAT SURROUNDS YOU AND SUPPORTS YOU WILL CHANGE YOUR DAY COMPLETELY. Love you all and don’t forget that you’re amazing, you have divine potential and God loves you.

Can’t wait to see you in class again soon. 🥹🫶🏼

Where’s My Focus? 💖

Life isn’t always easy, we all experience difficult circumstances that can sometimes make it harder for us to focus on the good and the joy that we can feel.

This week I went into a store to purchase a couple of things. I wasn’t thinking anything about it, until I met a girl who worked there and was trying to help me. We started talking about makeup, and all of a sudden we ended up talking about life and how things don’t always turn out the way you plan etc. She mentioned that she struggles with comparing herself to other people, and how that makes her feel…I think all of us can relate to that.

We talked about social media and how it can make you feel pretty terrible about yourself. I told her that we all struggle with thoughts like that. We see others lives and think that their lives are so perfect…but we have no idea what kind of struggles those people are facing in their lives too. I told her that God has a perfect plan for her and that she doesn’t need to compare herself to anybody else. Comparison truly steals our joy & it robs us of opportunities to be happy and to feel love for ourselves and others. God definitely doesn’t want us to walk through life feeling like that. 🙁

One of the best things we can do for ourselves is to let go of comparisons. To remind ourselves that we are on our own path. The path that God has created for each one of us individually. His path is a path that allows for Joy to be present even during the challenges we face.

Comparing ourselves to others is one of the quickest ways to drain our joy. It’s easy to look around and feel like other people are doing better, but the truth is: everyone has struggles, even if we don’t see them.

Here’s how to stop the comparison game:

Remind yourself: social media isn’t real life. People share their highlight reels, not their struggles. No one has a perfect life.

Celebrate your own progress. Instead of looking at what others have, focus on how far you have come. What have you learned? How have you grown? That’s what matters.

Replace comparison with inspiration. If someone has something you admire, don’t let it make you feel “less than.” Instead, let it inspire you. If they can do it, so can you—in your own way and timing.

Trust that God has a plan just for you. God created you to have Joy! 2 Nephi 2:25 says: “men are, that they might have joy” Your journey is meant to be different from anyone else’s, and that’s a good thing.

In the ups and downs of life, you can choose to have God by your side and focus instead on inviting the good into your life. On taking ownership of your thoughts and understanding that no matter what circumstances are happening…You can always change your focus and choose to feel Joy instead. Here are a few ideas that can help us to change our focus.

1. Be Present & Find Joy in the Small Moments.

One of the biggest ways to invite more joy into your life is to focus on now. Not the past, not the future—just this moment. Try these simple ways to stay present:

Take deep breaths – When life feels overwhelming, pause and take a few slow breaths. It calms your mind and brings you back to the moment.

Notice the good – Whether it’s a warm cup of tea, a sunrise, a smile from a stranger, or a song you love, joy is often in the little things we overlook.

Keep a gratitude list – Every day, write down three things you’re thankful for. It’s hard to feel joyless when you focus on what’s good.

2. Strengthen Your Mind & Choose Joy

Joy isn’t about never having struggles—it’s about learning how to rise above them. Here are a few ways to strengthen your mindset:

Change your perspective. Instead of thinking, “Why is this happening to me?”, ask, “What can I learn from this?”

Do something kind for someone else. Service is one of the fastest ways to shift your focus and feel joy.

Be kind to yourself. If you wouldn’t say it to a friend, don’t say it to yourself. You deserve encouragement too.

3. Connect with God & Your Higher Self

True joy comes from within and from allowing God to be present in our lives. ❤️

Pray or meditate. Talk to God, or simply sit in silence and connect with your inner peace. Allow yourself to speak to God and Listen to Him speak to your heart, mind and soul. He will let you feel His peace and remind you of how much He loves you.

Remember, you are more than your circumstances. You can say to yourself: “I am a divine soul, not just my body or my role.” This means your worth isn’t based on achievements or what others think—it’s already within you.

Trust in God’s timing. Elder Jeffrey R. Holland said, “Some blessings come soon, some come late, and some don’t come until heaven.” Just because something hasn’t happened yet doesn’t mean it won’t.

As we go through life and experience the hills and valleys of life. We also begin to understand what some feelings and thoughts feel right for our soul, and others don’t. We begin to recognize more clearly that we CAN practice changing our focus. Letting go of the negative and focusing instead on the good and the joy that we can experience TODAY. BEING PRESENT, RIGHT HERE & NOW.

Remind yourself that no matter what you’re going through, you can find joy. It’s in the little moments, in being kind to yourself, and in trusting that your path is unfolding exactly as it should. In trusting God for His provision of health, strength, encouragement and love for you. Remember that you’re divinely created. God has a perfect path for you. It is your own unique journey. Trust in God, trust in yourself and in your ability to focus on the joy that you deserve and that is yours to claim.

Our focus for this week and to choose joy. Choose joy in each task that you do. Find the joy in it. Practice letting go of what doesn’t serve you and allow God to fill your heart, mind and soul from one hour to the next with his peace, love and joy.

Finally, in your heart say to yourself: “I open my heart to the possibility of joy flowing in my life. I am grateful for the gifts of today. I trust that my benevolent Father has a divine plan for my highest good. I trust in Him and in myself. I choose Joy one moment at a time” 💛🥰

Hope that you can make it to class tonight at 7pm. We will focus on releasing stress and also on allowing ourselves to focus on being joyful and grateful for all that we have and are able to do. Remember that you are your own best cheerleader and that the motivation to get yourself to class has to come from YOU! So, do this for yourself and feel the difference. You’ll leave feeling renewed and amazing! ❤️ Hope to see you there! ❤️

Love,

Lili 🌸
