Finding Joy 💖

You know that feeling of loosing an item and really wanting to find it? It can be frustrating and stressful to look for it. In some cases we cry because we really want to find it. Most of the time when we realize something is missing we do all we can to try to find it. & looking for it can be a full adventure in itself, but we still have faith that we will find it and we look forward to experiencing the the joy of being reunited with the lost item.

This analogy can relate to those moments when we notice that we have lost something precious about ourselves. When we loose our Joy, our happiness, hope, self esteem or anything that you notice that you’ve lost within yourself.

Challenges and difficulties come to all of us, none of us are exempt. It is part of life that we experience the ups and the downs so that we may learn, have empathy for others and grow as we go through the fire of our challenges. We can recognize that we can grow from our challenges and we remember that if we’re loosing something in those moments we MUST DO ALL WE CAN TO FIND IT or bring back a feeling of joy and peace or whatever it is that we’re needing back into our lives.

Remember that there are people on this earth seem to have it all but yet, they’re miserable. & others who have absolutely nothing and yet, they’re some of the happiest people on earth. Choosing joy is not dependent on our circumstances or what we gain or loose in life. It’s based in WHAT WE CHOOSE TO FOCUS ON. Instead of focusing on the problems all the time we can “look for” finding gratitude today. We can search and look for joy in this very moment. Does looking at nature bring you joy? Or looking at your child or pet? It’s in the LOOKING OR SEARCHING for the beauty and the sacredness of each moment where we can find out joy and our peace.

What we focus on really grows. We see what we want to see-and we create what we concentrate on the most. So if we want peace, love, miracles and blessings, we first have to decide to notice them. Each moment is an opportunity for us to see the sacredness of that moment. We can focus our attention on finding the beauty, the good, the peaceful and the holy in each moment that we’re blessed to experience while we’re in this earth. Even during the hardest of times there truly is beauty, gratitude and joy that we can find around us if we choose to see it.

It’s hard to imagine that God would want us to be miserable, unhappy, lost or filled with negative feelings about ourselves or others, right? He would never speak to us in that way. If anything, it’s the enemy who wants us to be miserable like himself. So, when we can recognize that God invites joy, peace, hope and love into our lives. That means that as we can consciously invite those things into our lives so that we may experience God more fully, even in this very moment.

We can ask ourselves; “Does God wants me to feel Joy and happiness today?” “Do I trust Him enough times help me find what I need today?” “Do I want to invite Gods divine insights into my life today?” “Can I feel Him here with me in this very moment?” We can choose to allow ourselves to invite more of Gods presence. To reunite with His love, joy or peace even in the mundane moments of our lives. God will be there if we choose to look for Him in this very moment.

& what if all those little tiny moments where we find peace, love and joy are like mosaic tiles made up of some sort of divine clay and paint? Each little moment is like an imprint of Gods love. His fingerprints are seen in the little moments of your lives. The artwork that we will become as we choose to focus on seeing the beauty in the little things. The hand of God and the sacredness of each moment. Continuing to invite all that is good into our lives, regardless of the circumstances…think about what God will allow us to become as we choose to invite Him to be with us more throughout it all. ❤️

Mindfulness is also helpful when we’re looking for more joy or peace. Taking a moment to be present in the here and now, will help us to recognize the little details of this moment we’re living. So, stopping, breathing, checking where we’re at, what we see, touch, smell, taste. & taking a moment to calm our minds and hearts to just see Gods beauty of this moment. That is what will allow us to be better able to recognize what gifts we had lost but that now we can hold on to and enjoy. A gift to fill our heart with love, patience, peace. A gift of having an ability to focus on the beauty and joy that we can see here and now. Being aware of the divine that we can experience. Being swallowed up in the Joy of Christ instead.

We can see it in the morning light, the air we breathe, the thought of a loving friend, the tear over loss, the kindness of a stranger, The bite of food, the soft shirt, the trusty car, the cleansing rain, The smile of a child, the spoon in the pot, the broom on the floor, the very moment that we have to just trust be present in Gods love.

The common miracle here is love- which always wants to be found. Love is all around us, so look! Really look for what you want to find and you will experience the joy of being reunited with the lost thing- the divinity in the small and sacred things of your everyday life, which were there all along.

So, decide that beauty surrounds you today. Make it a point to seek and see the goodness and light that is all around you in the little moments. Watch carefully for beautiful moments and stay present where love is. You get to do this for yourself and you deserve to focus on love, peace and joy in the little moments of your day.

God wants to remind you that He is aware of YOU. Of what you’re going through. He is with you and will never leave you. He is HERE with you right now. You’re not alone. Feel His love. Feel His hug! & allow yourself to be open to experiencing His full peace and love being poured abundantly over you in this very moment. He invites you to notice the sacred in each small moment and to find joy in Him daily. In the daily miracles of your life so that you may begin to see His mosaic work of his divine LOVE FOR YOU.

Our goal for the week is to invite joy, peace, love or the presence of God into the moments when we need it most. Practice taking deep breaths. Calm your heart and mind with the peace of God. And FIND JOY IN YOUR OWN INDIVIDUAL JOURNEY WITH GOD. You’ve got this! 🥰🫶🏼

CLASS IS CANCELLED TONIGHT, but try to make it your goal today to do something to strengthen yourself physically, mentally and spiritually. ❤️ Hope to see you you again next Thursday. 💪🏼🥰

Hold On To Gods Love 💖

In a world often overwhelmed by noise, chaos, and uncertainty, there remains a truth so constant, so unwavering, that it anchors us in every storm. It is the boundless love of God through Jesus Christ. This love is not just a concept or a fleeting emotion. It is the essence of who God is. “God is love,” the apostle John writes (1 John 4:8), and through Christ, we see that love made flesh, walking among us, healing, forgiving, and embracing the brokenhearted.

From the very beginning, we were created in love, in the image of a God who desired a relationship with us. Because of His divine love He was willing to sacrifice and send His only perfect Son to redeem us, not because we earned it, but because He couldn’t bear to be apart from us. Jesus, with arms stretched wide on the cross, gave us the ultimate picture of love: sacrificial, unconditional, and eternal. What an incredible honor to know that thanks to Him we get to choose to return to His presence.

His divine love isn’t meant to be admired from a distance—it’s meant to be received, embraced, and lived out. That begins with us choosing for ourselves what we want to focus on each day. We begin to learn how to be kind and loving toward ourselves, not with pride or ego, but with the quiet confidence that comes from knowing we are cherished by the Creator of the universe. We begin to realize that we are not an accident. We are not a mistake. We are each beloved, forgiven, and wonderfully made.

When we accept that truth deep in our hearts, it transforms the way we see others. Just as Christ looked at the outcast, the sinner, the hurting, and saw beauty and worth, so too are we called to love. This love is patient when it’s easier to walk away, kind when it’s tempting to judge, and strong when the world around us grows cold. It is a love that forgives, that hopes, that endures, because it reflects the heart of our Savior. ❤️

To love as Christ loves isn’t always easy, but it is always powerful. Every act of kindness, every word of encouragement, every time we choose grace over anger, we become living reflections of His love. And in doing so, we light up the world around us.

So today, rest in the truth that you are deeply loved by God. Let that love wash over your soul, mend your wounds, and renew your spirit. Then go, and let that love pour out of you—into your family, your friends, your neighbors, and even strangers. Because the love of Christ is too good, too beautiful, and too life-changing to keep to ourselves.

These are the words from our Savior that we hope to hold on to this week. “Love one another as I have loved you.” — John 13:34

Let’s let that be our mission this week. Let that be our joy. Let that be our peace. Hold on to Gods love this week ❤️

I hope that you can make it to class tonight at 7pm to strengthen ourselves physically, mentally and spiritually. 🥰❤️

Believe In Miracles 💖

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about miracles. Sometimes we tend to doubt that miracles can still happen. We focus so much on the difficulties and the stresses of life, that we tend to close ourselves up to seeing the miracles that are happening around us. In the last few months my family has witnessed miracles related to health and healing that have been incredibly special and beautiful. These miracles have truly made us fall to our knees to thank God for what He has done in the lives of our lives ones.

Sometimes miracles don’t happen as clearly as what we experienced. But I want to remind you that there are miracles happening in your life way more often than you think. We just have to be willing to find them, recognize them and know that God is truly present in our lives.

Sadly, the majority of the world walks around stressed out 🙁 thinking about all of the horrible and terrible things that are happening. The emotional, physical, mental, spiritual and financial stresses that we all face. People complain about how hard and difficult life is and sadly many tend to believe that miracles don’t exist. 🙁 but the scriptures teach us that miracles have not ceased:

“And again, it is by faith that miracles are wrought; wherefore, if these things have ceased, wo be unto the children of men, for it is because of unbelief…” (Moroni 7:37)

That verse is both a reminder and an invitation. If miracles seem absent in our lives, perhaps it’s not because God has stopped performing them, but because we’ve stopped looking for them or believing in them.

So, today I want to invite you instead to STOP for one minute. Let your thoughts be calm. Take some deep breaths and if possible sit outside for a minute. Be truly present for a moment and allow yourself to disconnect from the world to instead connect to God. Feel the wind blowing all around you, look at the plants, animals, the sky, all that is living around you what do you see, hear, smell and just listen with your heart to feel Gods voice for a moment. 💛

This morning I did that, & I’m so thankful for the time that I set aside to be with God because I was truly able to feel HIS PRESENCE in my life. I felt His love for me and then I opened my scriptures and i happened to open to this passage.

D&C 35:8-9

8. For I am God, and mine arm is not shortened; and I will show miracles, signs, and wonders, unto all those who believe on my name.

9. And whoso shall ask it in my name in faith, they shall cast out devils; they shall heal the sick; they shall cause the blind to receive their sight, and the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak, and the lame to walk.

That alone was a miracle to me. The fact that I opened my scriptures to this passage that had to do with what I’ve been thinking about. And when He says For I AM GOD and mine arm is not shortened. That parade spine brought treats to my eyes. How often do we not trust God or think that his arm is not stretched toward us? He promises in this scripture that HE WILL SHOW S

MIRACLES, SIGNS AND WONDERS TO ALL WHO BELIEVE ON HIS NAME. ❤️

There it is! If we want miracles to happen in our lives we have to BELIEVE IN GOD! Believe that He is a God of miracles. That He will make miracles happen in our lives for us to experience Him more fully during our time on earth. How amazing that we have this opportunity to come to know a God that is loving, kind and a MIRACLE WORKER. How amazing for us to testify and know for ourselves that He does work miracles in our lives.

This life is not meant to be focused on the difficulties and the struggles. What if we start to FOCUS ON THE MIRACLES INSTEAD. 🥹💖 On being more open to feeling God in our lives more fully. On thanking Him in advance for hearing and answering our prayers. This will strengthen our faith in Him. This will change our lives and allow us to live a life that is meant to be lived in Joy. Focusing on the light instead of the darkness and then allowing each one of us to shine that light for others around us who are unable to feel Gods divine influence in their lives. ❤️

Don’t forget that miracles begin with belief. When we choose to trust in the Savior, even in our uncertainty, we open the door for heaven to step in. Faith isn’t perfect knowledge—it’s the decision to move forward with hope, to believe that the impossible can become possible through the power of Jesus Christ.

Think of the woman who touched the hem of the Savior’s garment. She didn’t demand a grand sign; she simply reached out, believing. That quiet act of faith unleashed divine healing. In many ways, miracles often start with a small, unseen step of faith—a prayer uttered in the dark, a choice to forgive, a heart willing to hope again.

So, this week let’s focus on:

💛 Strengthening our Faith in Jesus Christ.

💛 Ask for miracles in humility. Our Father in Heaven wants to hear the desires of our heart. We shouldn’t be afraid to ask for big things—but we should do so with the humility to accept His timing and His way. Even when the answer isn’t what we expect, the process of seeking can still lead to miraculous growth.

💛 Look for the small and simple.

Sometimes, the most profound miracles are quiet and personal—a softened heart, a sudden sense of peace, a clear prompting at the right moment. These everyday miracles are no less divine. The more we notice them, the more our faith grows—and the more miracles we’ll begin to see.

💛 Act in Faith

Faith is more than belief; it’s action. As we take steps forward—even when we’re unsure—we demonstrate to the Lord that we trust Him. Often, the miracle comes after the trial of our faith (Ether 12:6). As we keep moving with trust in Him, the path becomes clearer.

So, let’s allow ourselves to believe in a God who hears our prayers, knows our names, and works in our lives in ways seen and unseen. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His power is real. His love is constant. And yes—He still works miracles.

Sometimes those miracles come in dramatic, unmistakable ways. Other times, they come quietly, over time, like sunlight slowly melting the ice. But they do come.

President Russell M. Nelson taught:

“The Lord loves effort, and effort brings rewards that can’t come without it. Even miracles.”

rejoice in the God of miracles who is

Faith Over Fear ❤️

Life is unpredictable. No matter how hard we try to plan and prepare, challenges arise that test our faith and fill us with fear and stress. We worry about the future, our families, our responsibilities, and the unknown. These burdens can feel overwhelming, making peace seem out of reach.

But the Savior invites us to take a different path. He pleads with us:

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)

This is not just a comforting phrase—it’s a promise. Christ will give us rest if we choose to trust Him. That doesn’t mean our trials will disappear overnight, but it does mean that we don’t have to carry them alone.

When Peter walked on water toward Jesus, he did something incredible. But the moment he took his eyes off the Savior and focused on the storm, he began to sink (Matthew 14:28–31). The same thing happens to us. If we focus on our fears, we will feel like we’re drowning in stress. But if we fix our gaze on Christ, we will find the strength to move forward. We are capable of shifting our focus to Christ no matter what we’re going through. It requires strength but we can choose faith over fear and feel the difference.

So how can we practice and strengthen our mind and soul to choose faith rather than fear?

1. Pray with Real Intent; Instead of letting fear dominate our thoughts, we can pour our hearts out to the Lord. He knows our struggles and stands ready to help us. When we replace anxious thoughts with heartfelt prayers, we invite peace into our lives.

2. Fill Your Mind with His Word; Fear thrives in the absence of faith. Immersing ourselves in the scriptures, in the words of God builds spiritual confidence and pushes out doubt. When we read about God’s faithfulness to His children, we remember that He will also be faithful to us.

3. Turn Worry into Worship; Rather than dwelling on what we can’t control, we can focus on what we can—serving others, expressing gratitude, and deepening our relationship with Christ. When we choose to worship instead of worry, our perspective shifts from fear to trust.

4. Trust the Lord’s Timing; Fear often comes when we don’t see immediate solutions. But faith reminds us that God is never late. He is working in our lives, even when we don’t see it. Trusting His timing allows us to let go of stress and lean into His plan.

5. Take Action in Faith; Recognize that FEAR PARALYZES AND FAITH EMPOWERS. When we act in faith- whether by making a difficult decision, stepping outside our comfort zones, or simply choosing to believe that God is with us—we prove that we trust Him. And He always blesses those who move forward in faith.

The Promise of Peace. Don’t we all want and need a little more peace in our lives?

Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace. When we turn to Him, He replaces our fear with faith and our stress with serenity. As we let go of our burdens and trust in Him, we will find the rest He has promised.

So today, whatever is weighing on your heart, take it to the Savior. Lay it at His feet. Allow yourself to be empowered by your faith in Christ instead of being paralyzed by fear which is what the enemy wants. Allow yourself to be the PROTECTOR of your mind. Choose thoughts that uplift you and help you. Be kind to yourself and others. Focus on the good, on your blessings, and take a moment to breathe and be present. Most importantly, remember that God loves you, and He will guide you through and be by your side to help you one day at a time.

Trust Him when He says “Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)

Let go. Trust Him. And find peace.

Tonight in class we will focus on letting go of fear, insecurities and negativity and focusing instead on bringing in more faith, better thoughts and more peace to be with us. This is our goal for the week. Faith over fear.

I pray that this message helps you to gain strength and to renew your mind. Love you all and hope to see you tonight at 7pm! 🙂

Love,

Lili 🌸
