December Blessings ❤️

December tends to get a little crazy for all of us. As I was doing my Christmas shopping the other day, I noticed how many of us were running around, trying to find the right gifts. People were zooming by me from one place to another. As I took a minute to stop and notice the chaos around me, I felt exhausted.

The holidays bring so many beautiful moments, but at the same time it’s also a time when we feel that we are expected to be and do everything. Most of us gain weight at the holidays because so much is on our shoulders. We are expected to be psychics as we shop, we are expected to clean and decorate the house, to host the family dinners, cook, wrap, share cards, etc. And all while still looking cute in our Christmas sweaters! 😉 Haha

I realized that this level of running around and doing all of this “craziness” is definitely up to me to choose. I started thinking about how much I don’t want this Christmas season to feel chaotic and crazy, for me or for those around me. I wish we didn’t have to do all the shopping and running around (because of the consumerism attached to this Holiday). And I also wish there wasn’t so much pressure to be and do during the holiday season. Instead, I want to make room to slow down a little. To be more present, To focus on the blessings more than the gifts and to allow myself and my heart to be turned outward to others, to share my peace, love and joy rather than focus on the hectic schedule of the season.

As December begins, I want to invite you and myself to revise our standards and allow the messages of the season -peace, love and joy- to serve as our guide. Similar to the Marie Kondo method, where an item is salvaged or pitched based on the joy it brings, let us consider each extra activity on our list and ask the question, “Can I do this while still retaining my peace (calm and composure), Love (goodwill toward all including pets 😉 and joy (a good mood)? If the answer is no, we have options when we revise our standards we actually lift our spirits.

Remember that you don’t have to do or be everything this holiday season. Try to minimize and make things easier and more enjoyable for yourself. Give yourself time to still slow down, to be present, to listen to God for whom he needs you to serve. (You don’t have to serve everyone either, use your wisdom) Don’t feel pressured to fall into the business of the season. Try your best to focus on joy, to serve with compassion and to enjoy the little moments of this season. It will all work out and it will all be beautiful if we choose to focus on that. God will take care of all of us in His own ways. Make time to notice Him more this season.

You can also say this to yourself: “I respect myself enough to allow peace, love and joy to be the measure of my activities this week. I protect my right to make room for the joys of the spirit and the peace to hear the voice of my soul.”

I hope that you can continue to make time to take care of yourself this holiday season. That you may choose to do something great for your body, mind and spirit. Class will motivate you to do that for yourself. So, make it happen today at 5pm and you’ll fee the difference. The hardest thing is showing up. Once you’re there, we’ll take care of the rest & it will be an opportunity to enjoy the sunset and do something amazing for yourself. You won’t regret it! Love you all and I hope that you can make it. ❤️

Our Spiritual goal for the month is to live in Peace, Love and Joy. To filter carefully what is really important. I’d like to challenge you instead to give a little service each day instead. 😉 fill your heart with all that brings you peace, love and joy.

Our physical goal is to not allow the stress of the season to affect how we take care fo our bodies. Continue to exercise and eat healthy. You deserve it. This is the time when we need our immune systems working their best and exercise and nutritious food will be our shields to protect us.

Love you all and can’t wait to see you tonight at 5pm ❤️

Love,

Lili

You are so right every time the holidays come around we become so crazy with the idea of being someone we are not doing things we don’t want to do and running ourselves mad with the rush and expectations from others. Why we do this to ourselves it’s habit or society. The stores the media the on line shops it’s all a way if luring us to shop and go crazy. But if we realize that the holidays can come and go without us putting ourselves thru this madness then we can also realize that its about how we treat each ither and ourselves. Cause at the end of it all when we make ourselves happy and others then that’s what really counts that’s what the holidays is all about. Bring with your love ones spending time with your friends and giving someone your time. Everything else goes away but us but you. I want to wish you and your family a Very Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year. I want to thank you for all these emails that have lifted me in so many ways. Hope to see them continue next year.
    God bless
    Love Margie
