For the majority of us, self care is usually at the bottom of our to do list or sometimes itâs not even there at all. Our days are focused on giving ourselves in service to others, creating, learning, living, being and doing. Until at the end of the day we realize that weâre just exhausted and we had no time to give to ourselves much of anything.
As Iâve experienced this in my life, Iâve started to realize that self care Self care is a spiritual practice. I believe that as we practice loving ourselves, we will be able to make our connection to God even stronger. Self-care and self-love is the foundation of all spiritual practices. If we donât honor ourselves, we canât possibly honor our oneness with God and all of His creations. If we donât care for ourselves, we are unable to serve others from the empty well. If we donât see that we are a magnificent reflection of God, of His love and of His goodness then we canât be Godâs magnificent reflection in the world.
As weâre able to love ourselves and to see the light of God flowing within us, we will be better able to express more love for ourselves and for others. It will become easier to make wise choices about the way we spend our time, how much time we spend on social media, what we choose to do with our time or the ways in which we choose to strengthen our body, mind and spirit daily.
We can only become what we accept ourselves as being. So letâs accept our magnificence, our divine connection to God. Our ability to love ourselves MORE and to give more fully to ourselves and to those around us.
Here are a few things that we can practice in the world around us.
đ Be kind in the way that you think of yourself. Edit out any negative or unkind thoughts.
đ Be kind to your body in all ways, fueling it with healthy foods, exercise and plenty of joyful activity.
đ Be kind to yourself by seeing your spirit as a radiant, powerful expression of Godâs love.
đ Be kind to yourself by taking downtime when your mind, body and spirit requested from you. You will know when you feel resistance-that feeling of dragging yourself from one event to the other. Remember to stop, check in with yourself, get present, take some deep breaths and treat yourself as a beloved child of God. Listen for His wisdom and all else will be accomplished with greater ease.
đ Lovingly remind yourself that itâs important to care for yourself and that you deserve some time each day for that. You can also say to yourself; I lovingly care for myself knowing that I am a child of God, radiant powerful and beautiful. When I am clear and healthy, I enjoy life more deeply and I love others more fully.
Love you all and I hope that you can grow that love within yourself đđđźđĽ° Youâre in control of your thoughts, feelings and actions. Make them work for your benefit and God will bless you for your good efforts. Tonight we will focus on loving ourselves by taking some time to strengthen our Body, Mind and Spirit. Choosing joy can be hard sometimes. Specially during the times when weâre trying to endure some of the most difficult moments that life has to offer. On some days even the smallest step toward joy can feel like climbing a mountain. The truth is, we can honor a wide range of feelings, in the span of one day, while moving at any pace we choose toward that which is one step lighter.
Research has shown that although some people are born with a more positive disposition, anyone can reprogram their thoughts to foster more feelings of joy and happiness. Once we become aware of the negative repetitive thoughts that keep us distracted and distressed, we can turn toward prayer and positive affirmations to break the cycle. And over time, these new positive thoughts will become habitual.
Some of the best affirmations we can use, can be found in the word of God. Using scripture to regain peace and strength can become one of our best tools to fight against the negative thoughts that try to take over. God wants us to remember that we can choose to Rejoice.
1 Thessalonians 6:16-18 Says; Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
Joy isnât optional, it is an essential part of those who believe in God. Because we know and trust in a God who created us to have Joy. We know that He wants us to find joy in the journey. He wants us to learn to CHOOSE that for ourselves. & I believe that if it comes from the word of God, He will someday ask us about how much Joy we chose to focus on in our lives.
When we can feel our connection to God, we can start to see that as children of God, He wants us to experience the ups and downs of life, but that through it all we may find joy and focus on the opportunity of seeing God amidst whatever storm we may be facing. He truly can become the God of our circumstances. We can strengthen our faith in Him, notice the good around us and focus on joy one day at a time.
Joy isnât a feeling that is dependent on our circumstances. It is a response to the goodness of God and our eternal salvation. Choosing joy has very little to do with how we feel and everything to do with how we obey, how we trust and how we believe in the love of God. â¤ď¸
Choosing joy is a spiritual practice, renewing our connection with the divine as we become lighter, more mindful and more peaceful. When in alignment with the spirit of God we can relax and trust that all things will be done according to His will. We will trust and focus on our blessings. We will see that we are safe. We are home in the peace of God. And this is who we really are. đ
Our goal for the week is to experiment with positive affirmations. Write down your favorite scriptures on your journal or on your phone. Allow negative thoughts and words to move naturally through you without taking up residence.
Love yourself. Complement yourself. Treasure yourself. Forgive yourself. Eat nutritious foods. Get plenty of sleep. Move your body. Keep company with joyful people.
Read uplifting books. Listen to joyful music. Choose inspirational articles, podcasts and movies. Basically BRING ALL THAT IS GOOD AND UPLIFTING INTO YOUR LIFE. đ
And finally in your heart say to yourself: I open my heart to the possibility of joy. I am grateful for the gifts of today. I trust that my benevolent God has a divine plan for my highest good. I trust in Him and in myself. I choose Joy in my life. đđĽ°
Motivation requires us to tap into our âwhyâ to ask ourselves; âWhy do I want to do this for myself?âThat means digging deep to find that thought, goal, or reward that will get you moving today.
You can also take a moment to be aware and recognize the excuses that you constantly give yourself to not exercise. Think of the thoughts that pop up for you, Write them down, And ask yourself if theyâre true?âŚTonight in class we will talk about our thoughts and how to help them work for us and not against us. So, try to be aware and make sustaining motivation easier by recognizing and eliminating your excuses before they happen.
Most importantly, realize that you deserve to love and take care of yourself today. âď¸You deserve that time to strengthen yourself physically, emotionally and Spiritually. Exercise brings positive consequences into your life and as you tap into that love for yourself youâll find that you can be motivated to do something good for yourself today! ?
Remember that you can do all things with Gods help too! Ask Him to help you find the motivation, the thoughts and actions to help you choose what is best for you today. He wants you to choose to do those things that will strengthen yourself not only physically but also mentally and spiritually. So that you may be a strong child of His and so that you may continue to experience the love, joy and peace of God in your life daily. It will require your awareness, and your desire to feel positive thoughts and actions in your life. You get to choose! ???
The more you PRACTICE MOTIVATING YOURSELF the easier it will get. ?? Focus on doing it ONE DAY AT A TIME. And begin to notice the difference one day at a time.
When you begin to do this for yourself consistently, focusing on your âwhyâ on the awareness of your thoughts, on asking God to help you choose positive thoughts and feelings that will allow you to take the action toward that goal. You gradually fill your motivational stores as you understand what gets you moving. Youâre better able to put on those workout clothes and to get outside to do something for yourself. Youâre better able to choose good thoughts to help you not only love yourself more but also strengthen yourself emotionally and spiritually. The practice and not being judgmental of ourselves will make all the difference. ?
So, focus on your âwhyâ today. Your own actions are what generate that feeling you’ve been searching for. Allow that love for yourself to expand and grow today. Choose to do something good for your yourself today! You deserve it and you need that opportunity to release stress, to feel proud of yourself for doing something that required your own mental work and motivation ??? what an awesome opportunity to prove to yourself what you can do and overcome. So, prove it to yourself and experience that amazing feeling of accomplishment one day at a time.
The other day while scrolling social media I noticed that there were people praising and complementing the rich and famous. And at the same time some of these people were also expressing hate and very little love for themselves. As soon I saw that I felt so sad for how we treat ourselves sometimes and I heard those words in my head saying; âcomparison really is the thief of Joy.â
This virtual world which we join multiple times a day is saturated by images, videos and so much more that is constantly calling for our attention and attacking our self esteem. It creates insecurities, self judgments, comparison, and feelings that weâre just not good enough. Not pretty enough, not fit enough, not wealthy enough etc. It also creates a desire within us to try to achieve this âPinterest perfect lifeâ & we easily fall in the trap of perfectionism and we criticism of ourselves.
BrenĂŠ Brown said; âPerfectionism is not the same thing as striving to be your best. Perfectionism is the belief that if we live perfect, look perfect, and act perfect, we can minimize or avoid the pain of blame, judgement, and shameâŚItâs a shield.â
I know all of us have fallen in these traps, but I want to remind you that this isnât the way God wants us to live our lives. â¤ď¸
He wants us to first look to Him. Because the only approval we need in this life is the approval of God and of ourselves. We donât need the worldâs approval when we have Gods love and approval. That alone fills us with peace and replaces the need for us to compare ourselves, to try to please the world or to try to be perfect.
So, remember to let go of those things. God already loves you! He always has and always will. That will never change. Whatâs important is that YOU are able to express more love and praise for the good that you do. Donât neglected yourself, Your goodness, kindness and the hard work that you do. You donât need to be publicly recognized because God can see your daily efforts. He is proud of all the good that you do. He knows whatâs in your heart. & He is right here ready to give you a hand to help you make it through ANYTHING because HE LOVES YOU and wants you to LOVE YOURSELF â¤ď¸
So, take a moment to be curious with yourself and find those areas where youâre being critical of yourself. Once youâre aware and recognize them, you can write them down and take a moment to see where theyâre coming from or how you can change your thoughts around them. Take some deep breaths and see yourself as a little child again. If you can connect to yourself as a child you know that you wouldnât be critical to that little child. You would tell that child that you love her & that she can do amazing things. Be positive with yourself, be kind, be accepting of yourself, your body and all that makes you who you are and allows you to have this living experience TODAY! ?
I would like to share with you 6 amazing keys to help strengthen our self esteem. ???
? 1. Refrain from Evil= Or anything that you know is not good for your Mind, Body or Soul. (Think about your habits and the things that you bring into yourself daily. (What you watch or listen to..)Are these things are lifting you? Or bringing you down?
? 2. Humility= That comes from inner strength and peace. Itâs a humility that allows you accept yourself fully, with a changing body, without the need to complain or criticize yourself. Itâs the Humility that allows you to be teachable and willing to love instruction and knowledge.
? 3. Honesty= Being true to ones own self is the keystone to self esteem.
? 4. Love of work = Work toward nourishing yourself, your talents, abilities, gifts and the good things that God has given you. Work toward all of the good goals in your life.
? 5. Ability to Focus on gratitude and love= Have a grateful heart daily. Thank God for your daily blessings and remember to focus on love for yourself God and others.
? 6. Love God= When youâre connected to God your self esteem instantly improves. You remember who you are to Him. You no longer depend on the world to give you recognition. Youâre better able to recognize your needs and to be better able to feel Godâs strengthening peace, love and light in your life. Which then allows you to be recharged and ready to give that same love to others.
The path of self love is available the instant that we choose to disconnect a little more from the comparison trap, or the worldly expectations to instead connect to God. Pray to Him daily for wisdom, strength and the ability to keep your thoughts clean, your words positive and your heart pure. His love and peace is already available to you. Hold on to it and allow it to grow. ?
Our Goal for this week of to express more love for ourselves by inviting all that is good for our mind, body and Spirit. This week we will be more aware of choosing good things to read, watch and listen to. It also means that we will be conscious of the food that goes into our bodies, the exercises we choose to do and the quiet moments we allow ourselves to have to strengthen ourselves Spiritually. ???
Invite the love, light and peace of God to be with you today. ? So that you may have a stronger desire to take better care of yourself. Motivate yourself to be at class at 7:00pm ??? Remember that only YOU can do this for yourself! Today we get to make something brand new. No matter what we have going on, we have the opportunity to make it a positive experience for ourselves. It will always depend on what we choose to focus on. Every single thing we create today wasnât there before. The energy we put into this day, the smiles, the gratitude, the actions. We are the creative tools of the divine allowing ourselves to mold love into new things.
I believe that as part of our life experience weâre meant to find a deeper connection to God by aligning ourselves more fully to Him. Through stillness and meditation we can access Gods divine light and begin to see God within ourselves. That vision of ourselves allows us to see our life more clearly, to see our potential and to gain a better perspective of where to focus our energy and attention one day at a time. Itâs through the quiet moments we create for ourselves, that our vision becomes clearer. And once we have that vision, we can go and act accordingly. Allowing that connection to God to grow even deeper when we put the work and the action toward it. ?????
The more that we allow ourselves to have that connection to God, the more we will experience self love. & once we have more love for ourselves, itâs easier to give love to others. ? Even to the point when we can begin to see God in them and also be able to experience the type of love that God has for them as well. So, once again we become stronger in God. Creating for ourselves the types of relationships that God would want us to have. Weâre no longer influenced by negative stories that we tell ourselvesâŚwe instead connect to the Divine and try to live a life that is pleasing to God and to ourselves.
Once we gain this knowledge of our connection to God, it becomes easier for us to choose MORE positive thoughts, words and actions that align with our divine purpose. It becomes easier for us to choose what to focus our energy on today. We can choose how to react to the different circumstances that we encounter. We can CHOOSE TO CREATE MORE love, compassion, peace and gratitude for ourselves. We can focus our mental energy and our physical energy on doing good for ourselves, for God and for those around us.
This will allow us to have not only a great day, but a lifetime filled with divine creations. ?Remember that YOU are the creator of your world. Make it good, peaceful, enjoyable and filled with gratitude . The more we practice this, the easier it will become.
Our spiritual go for the week is: To create moments where we can fully focus our energy on reacting to each situation from a place of love and alignment with God. So, dedicate your actions of today to God. ( share a smile, Clean your house, spend time with your loved ones, take time for yourself etc) But try coming from a place of love and connection to God. â¤ď¸??
Our physical goal for this week is: To Be more mindful about the things that weâre putting in our bodies. Take some time to notice your food and express gratitude for having it. Notice how it feels, tastes etc. Try to choose good that is nourishing and good for you. ?ďżź

Sometimes life is out of control. We have learned that there are a lot more things that we canât control than those that we can control.
Covid has definitely taught the entire world that, right? ??ââď¸ but as the challenges of life come to all of us, and the lack of control feels sometimes overwhelming. These different situations that we encounter become good opportunities for us to allow ourselves to release the need to control. And instead, we can choose to hold on to the few things we can control.
This knowledge has given me an opportunity to exercise something that helps me and has become my little secret when I feel like things are fully out of my control. Iâve learned to say to myself. âI may have no control of this situation, but I know God doesâŚI always hold within my control what kind of energy Iâm going to put into this hour, or into this day. ?
Reminding myself of those words allows me to remember that I do have control one of the most important things in my life. Which is the way I choose to react to things, and the kind of energy that I want to put into my day. ? This knowledge has helped me in huge ways! I realize that I can take some time to breathe and to recharge my energy, so that I can radiate more love for myself, my family and everyone that I encounter during the day.
This is a huge thing to be in control of. If my constant question is: How can I react to this with love? ?Then all day long I am vibrating love. The question itself opens the heart and exposes the depth of unending unconditional loveâŚWhich also brings peace to my soul because I know that Iâm reacting in a way that is pleasing to me, to my higher self and to God.
Anytime we act with LOVE we instantly make contact with the divine, who is the infinite source of all love. It increases our capacity to love ourselves and others and that magnifies as we align with God as beings of love. Plus, it feels great to release to God the things we canât control and instead focus our energy on reacting with Love to the things we can control.
If we are able to bring the energy of love into our day, we can react in love to even the smallest choices. We can react in love for ourselves, when we choose to exercise, eat healthy, get enough rest, meditate, pray etc. We can react in love when our children behave in a way that is not pleasing to us. Or when someone is not kind to us etcâŚall situations handles in love will feel way better. Throughout the day we can choose to react in love each hour because we deserve to feel LOVE instead of feeling all of the other negative and spiraling emotions that donât uplift or help us out at all. ??ââď¸
The greatest thing is that we do get to choose how we want to react and the kind of energy that we want to have. So throughout the day, today letâs allow ourselves to become the energy of love for ourselves and for everyone who crosses our physical path as well as for those who cross our mental paths. Focus on love in your Mind, heart and actions. So that we may fully radiate love internally and externally. By doing this we will experience even more LOVE, PEACE and GRATITUDE flowing throughout our day and into our lives. This type of vibration will affect you those around you in amazing ways. Maybe after all, life doesnât have to feel out of control. ? Put it to the test and watch it work for yourself. ?â¤ď¸

Our physical goal this week is: To come from a place of love In your exercise. Yes, I know it can be hard to find the motivation sometimes ?âŚBut just take it one day at a time. Choose to do it from a place of LOVE. Ask yourself how can I react in love to this feeling? ? Love might remind you of your reasons WHY you want to exercise. Love might motivate you to put on your workout clothes, to get in your car and just drive yourself to class. Love might remind you to keep a promise to yourself, it might encourage you and remind you that it would be great for you to do thisâŚwhatever is going on, respond to it coming from a place of love and then follow through with that action of Love. Youâve got this! âĽď¸

The path of complaining, feeling discouraged and negative is always easier but definitely not rewarding. We often allow the emotions or judgments of others to affect us, when we already know that we canât control what anyone else does or says. We can only control what we think, say or do.
That is where our power comes in. This is the moment when we need to react positively for ourselves. Because we deserve it! And because we CAN choose a better option for ourselves. We can come from a place of love, respect and confidence to be able have our own back in life.??? ?

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
There are so many amazing scriptures to remind us that God is with us and that He can get us through anything we may be facing. Whatâs important, is that we choose to trust in His words and to allow those words to come over us, to empower us and to fill us with His strength. So that we may be able to continue moving forwarding in light, love and in positive energy for ourselves and for whatever we may be facing. Trust in God and positive thinking will make all the difference. ?
So today, tell yourself YOU CAN! You can overcome this, you can make it through even if itâs just ONE DAY AT A TIME. God wants to remind you that through Him you can do MORE! He wants to remind you that youâre loved by your creator, that your work doesnât go unnoticed, but that itâs actually noticed by the most amazing being in the universe. He knows your heart and is ready and willing to help you through it All.
Believe in yourself, and in your capacity to choose to focus on the good. To keep your eyes centered on what God would want you to do for yourself and for those around you. Keep your heart focused on the Love of God so that may experience more love for yourself. Focus today on feeling Gods live in the smallest little things, like the air you breathe, the plants, animals and children you see. The light and love of God is all around you! How much of it can you see? â¤ď¸
Our Spiritual goal for ourselves today is to âcheck inâ With ourselves each hour, to take some deep breaths and re-focus our energy on what we want to feel. Ask yourself, how do I want to show up for myself and others during this hour? Remind yourself I CAN DO THIS! I can do all things through Christ who Strengthens meâŚ.Whatever your goal is, remember to give yourself the gift of encouragement, love and alignment with God to remain positive. Youâve got this & YOU CAN DO THIS.
Our physical go for the week is to remain in alignment with our health goals. Focus on the good healthy foods you can eat and how good they are for your body. Donât tell yourself you canât have that! EtcâŚInstead tell yourself you choose not to have it because youâd rather choose something healthier for yourself. Tonight in class weâll talk a little more about this.

No matter what Iâm carrying or holding on to today, I deserve to let go of negativity and hold on to all that brings peace, love and light into my life.
Each day I have the opportunity to choose where to focus my energy, thoughts and attention. Thoughts of fear, pain, lack or negative affect my Mind, Body and Soul. I recognize that they cause more damage and pain and that most of those thoughts come form the enemy, who doesnât want me to progress or align to the divine light of God.
So, today I choose to focus on releasing all that is affecting me negatively and giving it all to God instead. I align myself to higher and greater power. The power which is full of love, light, peace and positivity. The light of God which reminds me that with each inhale and exhale that my physical body takes, I can say to myself; âI am a peaceful being,â âMy mind is calm,â âMy soul is joyful.âI know in whom I trust.ââ¤ď¸
As Iâm able to EXERCISE letting go of the thoughts and feelings that donât serve me, I begin to understand my relationship with God. I know that I am His child and that He loves ME. He has a perfect plan aligned for me and as I learn to trust Him and listen to Him, I will be better able to master my mind while Iâm on this earth. ???
I will trust in His light, wisdom, mercy and guidance for my life. I place my full trust on Him. I promise Him to be a child who is fully trusting, no matter what. I want to be a child of God who sets no boundaries to the amazing Love, generosity and care that a loving Father in Heaven is willing and ready to give. I recognize that His power is limitless and thereâs no end to the amazing things He can do for me in my life.
As Iâm able to trust Him, Iâm able to hear His words when He says; âLook unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not.â D&C 6:36 When I look to God in every thought my doubts and fears leave. Negativity disappears because Iâm filled with the love of God. â¤ď¸
My Body, Mind and Soul feel peaceful and itâs my faith in God which propels me forward into taking more positive action for my life. It allows me to feel the power of God flowing in my daily thoughts and actions. ?
I will place my focus on the light, love and peace of my loving Father in Heaven. I will notice His hand in my life today, I will speak to Him with a pure heart and I will do my best to live a life that is positive, peaceful, grateful, loving and trusting….Because I deserve it. â¤ď¸

The world around us wants us to gain our confidence from our abilities or from what we can accomplish. We tend to feel like our level of confidence is based on what people say about us, how many likes we get, how popular we are, how much we have compared to others, how we look etc.
The more that we base our level of confidence on what is âpopularâ the harder it will be to ever feel true peace with ourselves. Following the words of the world around us keeps us unstable and unable to gain a strong and rooted confidence in God. Itâs important for us to be honest with ourselves and ask ourselves, how confident do I feel today? Do I look for outside sources to bring me confidence? How can I turn my lack of confidence into becoming truly confident in God and in His plan for me?
To be confident in God means that we donât need any outside sources to tell us our worth. We donât need likes, comments, the popular vote or for people to like or accept us. The confidence that God provides is different. Itâs not prideful or conceited, Instead itâs peaceful, calm and filled with an inner strength & knowledge that there is a God who hears every prayer & and is ready to prove to you what the power of having true faith in Him life feels like. ???
God confidence means that itâs full of courage even when thereâs fear, because we know in whom we trust. Itâs a confidence that has faith to get out of the boat during the storm and walk on the water keeping your focus in HIM. â¤ď¸ Itâs a confidence that is filled with a positive attitude, with hope, it looks upward and forward to the future and to the purpose that God has for our lives. Itâs a confidence that is filled with strength and courage to live the best life that we can for God and for ourselves. ???
God teaches us in Psalms 118:8 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. & Proverbs 3:26 says; For the Lord shall be thy confidence.
God wants us to place our confidence on Him. Thatâs the reason why weâre here on this Earth! to get to know Him, to learn to trust Him, to test the limits of our Faith & to become who He intended us to become when He created us. The more that we trust Him, the more we will notice what we can do and accomplish with His help. He will guide us, help us and inspire us to know where we should be focusing our energies. Trust Him & see what a confident Child if God can do. ????

? Our Spiritual goal for the next 2 weeks is to be God confident! ?? ?Donât let the other stuff get to you. Focus on your purpose! On renewing your Mind, BODY and Spirit with His light daily. Focus on what God wants you to work on and youâll feel so much better. Set goals for yourself, talk to Him & be confident in your ability to accomplish what He has placed in your heart.
? Our Physical goal for the next 2 weeks is to Eat more nutrient rich foods. Letâs avoid anything processed or sugary. And letâs set a goal to exercise at least 3 times during the week ??? Focus on healthy, nutrient rich food, and be mindful of what is going in your body. We can do this! ???â¤ď¸

For many of us our first thought of the day is âI didnât get enough sleep.â Followed by âI donât have enough time, my weight isnât what I want it to be, thereâs not enough money, I need that, I havenât done thisâ etc….Weâre unknowingly judging ourselves daily with statements of lack or of not being good enough or doing enough.
We have a hard time being satisfied with what we already have. Social media and the things we view can also have an effect on us, making us feel ânot enoughâ. We live in a consumerist society where we are preoccupied with the acquisition of things. They want us to feel lack constantly! They tell us weâre not enough and that we need to acquire MORE in order to feel good enough. They lie to us and tell us weâre not pretty enough and we need that make up, those clothes or that surgery to âfeel prettyâ so we buy into it again and again. We also believe the lies that weâre not a good enough at taking care of the people or things around us, that we didnât accomplish enough and that our some days are failed and terrible… all of those thoughts and lies begin to affect us and the world around us.
These subconscious negative thoughts make us question everything about ourselves. Who we are, what we look like, what we havenât done or accomplished etc. They create a mindset of scarcity in our lives. Those thoughts donât allow us to see the good that we do, they instead cloud the good and bring into our hearts sadness, jealousy, greed comparisons, dissatisfaction and a lack of trust in ourselves. We try to search to become âenoughâ by the things that we purchase, by trying to attain more money, by the accumulation of material things, we search for it by seeking popularity, attention and the approval of others. We become dependent of what others think of us and we continue the cycle of not believing in ourselves or not feeling good enough. So, we should take a minute and ask ourselves, Where am I searching to become âenoughâ? What lies am I buying into? What is the world or the enemy trying to feed into my mind that is not helping me live today to the fullest or to be satisfied with my blessings and what I can enjoy today? ?
I would like to challenge you to notice your thoughts of ânot enoughâ throughout your day or your week and to treat yourself as you would TREAT SOMEONE YOU LOVE! ? remember that if itâs someone you love, you would remind them that they are loved, that they can be positive, that theyâre beautiful and amazing and you focus on their strengths and the good that they do. You would tell them that they have enough to live a happy life and to enjoy the blessings of today. The problem is that we forget that itâs the person staring back at us in the mirror who can make us happy! We forget to take care of that person! Of who we are! We forgot that itâs not up to the world or to anything external for us to feel enough. That feeling comes from our connection with God and the love that weâre able to give to ourselves. We truly can be our own best friend. ?â¤ď¸?? So, give yourself the love of a friend & add God to your day because He will always come through to help you feel better.
He has said:
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:38-39
Nothing can separate you form the love of Jesus. and if thatâs all you can focus on at a time, that is good enough. â¤ď¸ Just the fact that God has promised you that nothing can separate you from the love of Jesus is enough to remind you that you do not live in a world of scarcity but in a world of abundance! a world where you can feel the love of God. In the simple things as in nature, in the eyes of your children or your pet, In the love of friends and so much more. So when you feel those thoughts of lack remember to focus on love instead. Just knowing that God created you, that He has a plan for you from before you came into this earth and that He will never leave you but instead always LOVE YOU! That very knowledge of the love of God can bring immense peace and confidence into your soul.
Hereâs another beautiful promise for you;
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. – 1 John 3:1
I believe that the real test of our lives is to learn to look inward, to help ourselves internally to overcome the different challenges we face. And the best way to do that is to feel a connection to our Father in Heaven and our Savior Jesus Christ. When we can feel that God has a perfect plan for us, that He loves us and as we try our best to remember that, we will be better able to give ourselves more love. And to love ourselves enough to want to do the best for our soul, our mind and ourselves physically as well. So, remember, you are in control of your thoughts. No one else has power over us unless we âallow themâ to do so. If we know where to focus our thoughts, to make them positive, they will help strengthen us, change our feelings and our actions which will create some amazing results for our lives.
When we learn to look inward we have a stronger desire to love ourselves for who God created us to be. He wants us to truly feel the AMAZING LOVE THAT HE HAS FOR EACH ONE OF US!! â¤ď¸ & He wants us to know that we can GIVE OURSELVES MORE LOVE TOO! we can remind ourselves that we already were born with Divine light and we can continue to grow that in our lives. We donât need to compare ourselves to anyone, instead we will be reminded to trust in the amazing God who knows what is best for our lives. We trust in a loving God who has already given us in abundance and we focus on our blessings and on the love that were able to have today instead of focusing on lack or negativity (which is what the enemy wants) We help ourselves to RAISE OUR FREQUENCY! To reach new heights with God and to allow our thoughts, our minds and Spirits to be centered and lifted on God. On all that is good! The good that we do and all that weâre blessed to have. ?â¤ď¸??
At the end of it all, youâve always been enough. Youâve been perfectly made from the beginning. Your soul was created by a loving God. He thought of creating YOU!!! That alone is amazing on its own!!! â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸ Your value doesnât come from material things, from an instagram or Facebook post. It doesnât come from popularity, from having the perfect body or from having millions of dollars and seeking recognition or power. Some things in life may bring comfort, but none of those things bring true joy, happiness and real lasting peace. That can only come from within each one of us. We have to remember that we are enough, because we are CHILDREN OF GOD, Our value is already determined. It is only up to us to look inward to find it and to bring it out and start feeling that love more and more within us and around us.
So, Trust Him and know that true and lasting peace starts with your thoughts and your connection to yourself and to God. All other things are mostly distractions or ways to teach us to manage our surroundingsâŚBut, weâre really here on earth to learn to LOVE God, LOVE ourselves, LOVE our families and LOVE our neighbors, LOVE our blessings and all that we have today. â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸
Focus on the Good and learn from the hard times. Remind yourself today that youâre created by a Loving God and you want to focus on LOVING YOUR LIFE TODAY & not hating it. ??ââď¸ …Move forward with Faith in God and trusting in yourself to recognize the lies that the world and the enemy try to feed you. Treat yourself as someone you LOVE! â¤ď¸ Remember that God wants you to lean this! To really do this for yourself and to combat and have victory over those negative thoughts and feelings. The more you practice changing those thoughts, the better youâll get at it. Life is what we want to make it. Let go of the lack and focus on the good and on the love and all of the amazing abundance that surrounds you today and always. ?â¤ď¸??
