Daily Gifts 💛

Every sunrise is a blessing, a gift just for today. Embrace it and enjoy it before it fades away.” If we choose to see the gifts that God has given us, we will see His fingerprints of Love and divinity all around us.

Some days may be harder than others. Regardless of the type of day we may be having, it’s important to remember that we need to slow down. To focus on TODAY. To take it one day at a time or one moment at a time. We can make a conscious choice to be present, in the here and now. We can ask God to help us become more aware of our surroundings, and more willing to focus on our blessings.

We can choose to be filled with Peace in this moment. We can choose to be filled with Love and light. All of these are gifts that we can give to ourselves. Gifts that we can give to God, and gifts that we can give to others. We can choose to focus our attention on seeing the light, beauty and love that is woven in all that surrounds us at this very moment.

God wants us to be more present. He tells us in Mathew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

We can remind ourselves God wants us to practice being more present. That each moment brings with it the gift of life and the chance to love. This small moment, this precious day will not come again. We have never seen a day like this before. Therefore we must try to make it the best it can be. And to focus our choices and activities on what is truly important and on what will allow us to feel more comfortable and connected to God and his daily gifts.

We can change the way we see things normally, and focus instead on the beauty that is around us. we can start to view our day as being saturated in sacred sights and sounds. Then, this moment right here, right now, where we are, broken, messy, or whatever it may be, becomes a beautiful & holy moment.

James 1:17 Saysďżź: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turningďżź.

God is the provider and the giver of all Good gifts. If we choose to see His light in our lives, we will see Him and feel Him. He gives us more than we realize daily. He loves us and wants us to keep our view focused on Him. The Father of lights, the Father of our souls. He who knows the end from the beginning is ready to help us and lift us daily. We just have to reach up to Him and consciously be aware of how blessed we are and the gifts that He is constantly giving us.

So, let’s remind ourselves today to look up! Look up to the Father of lights to fill us with more light. As his children we already have his light within us. But it is up to us to fill our hearts, homes and all that surrounds us with more of His divine light.

Let’s remember to not allow the enemy to bring us down. Recognizing the negative ways in which he affects us. But also remembering that we’re stronger than we realize. Our power comes from our Father in Heaven. Who is filled with love, light and peace. He is the giver of all good gifts. Who is granting us the gift of being here today.

We can reject negativity with prayer and feeding our minds and souls all that is good & uplifting. We get to CHOOSE to focus on the light or not. God invites us to experience His love in the daily moments that He gives us on this earth. So, Enjoy them and allow your heart to be peaceful and soak in that daily divine light.

During this Christmas season I invite each one of us to look for the light, for the gifts that God so abundantly gives each one of us daily. I invite us to also be a light to others and to consciously choose to be filled with Love, Light and Peace form one moment to the next. Let’s recognize and thank God for all of the gifts He has blessed us with and continues to provide even to this very moment.

Finally, I want to challenge you to make a promise to yourself to take your focus away from yourself this holiday season and instead think of a gift that you could give to God. Ask yourself “What is one gift that I could offer to God this week?” What would be a good gift to give Him for all He does for me?” I pray that as you do this you will be blessed to feel an even greater abundance of Gods love and blessings.

Tonight in class I invite you to be in the moment. To enjoying the gift of being able to move your body and to strengthen yourself physically, mentally and spiritually. If you’re feeling stressed and overwhelmed I invite you to make time for class & think about the ways in which it will benefit you. Come ready to have a peaceful meditation that will re-center you and re-focus you on the truly important things in your life. This is the time of the year when we need this the most. Love you all and let’s do this together! 💖

Love,

Lili 🌸

How Limited Are Your Prayers?

Think of the ways in which the enemy stops us from praying. Is it distractions, Social Media, Internet, Tv, waking up late, other responsibilities, Or just laziness?

There will always be distractions that try to stop us from praying. That’s the enemy’s goal! He wants us to be as far away from God as possible. The enemy will do anything in his power to prevent us from praying. He knows that if we have a relationship with God, this will weaken his influence in our lives and because he fears those who are close to God, he will try as hard as he can to stop us from building a relationship with God.

If we are able to recognize the ways and tools which the enemy uses to create this separation from us and God, then we must fight against it with a stronger desire to push away the opposition and to do ALL THAT IS IN OUR POWER TO COMMUNICATE WITH GOD, OUR FATHER. This desire will bring strength and peace into our lives and a stronger connection to God daily.

2 Nephi 32:8-9, Says;

And now, my beloved brethren, I perceive that ye ponder still in your hearts; and it grieveth me that I must speak concerning this thing. For if ye would hearken unto the Spirit which teacheth a man to pray, ye would know that ye must pray; for the evil spirit teacheth not a man to pray, but teacheth him that he must not pray.

But behold, I say unto you that ye must pray always, and not faint; that ye must not perform any thing unto the Lord save in the first place ye shall pray unto the Father in the name of Christ, that he will consecrate thy performance unto thee, that thy performance may be for the welfare of thy soul.

By giving in to the spirit of God, which teaches us to pray and to stay close to God. We will notice how different our days will be if we start our day with a prayer. Having that quiet time of communication and mediation with God will allow us to be better able to deal with stress and the different situations that may arise during our day. We will feel differently just by knowing that we started our day with a prayer. We will be able to acknowledge more clearly the hand of God in our lives. And this relationship to protect us, inspire us, uplift us and bring us even more peace and clarity during our day.

Our Father in Heaven isn’t just there for when we NEED him. Imagine how He would feel as our creator to see us willingly desiring to come to Him of our own free will. As our creator, He loves to hear from us! & if we can make that a daily habit we will start to count on God during the good times as well as the bad times.

We can even ask Him to consecrate our performances in everything that we do. From cleaning our house to working or doing all of our activities. That He will allow those things to be for our welfare, for the benefit of our soul, and that all of our activities may all be a delight to Him and a way to honor God for what He gives us the opportunity to do in this very moment. Dedicating our days and tasks to Him seems so beautiful. It will help us find a better connection to the task that we’re doing and it will allow us to be more present and God will be able to communicate to our hearts and souls things that we may not be open to seeing otherwise.

Our spiritual goal for the week is to recognize the things or oppositions that are getting in our way from allowing us to talk to our Heavenly Father. Make a conscious effort to push away the opposition and to make the changes to put God first in our lives. The goal is to pray each morning and to have a prayer in our hearts during the day as we dedicate our activities to Him. Asking him to help us see the good in each task and to consecrate it for the benefit of our soul. If you have an experience that teaches you something from this week, please share it with me, I would love to hear it!!!

Our physical goal for the week is To have self control this week with the food we eat. Choosing healthy food will bless us and even with that it’s an opportunity for us dedicate that to God.

Tonight at 7 we’re gonna burn calories, tone and mediate to leave us feeling not only physically strong but also emotionally and mentally ready for the rest of our week. I hope you guys can make it and be able to push away the opposition that gets in the way for us to be able to do something amazing for body, mind and spirit.

Hope to see you there! 🙂 Have a blessed and wonderful day and I want you guys to know that I love you and that I pray for you always. I’m so thankful to have each and every one of you in my life. & Thank you so much for reading these little weekly messages! Hope we can keep them in our hearts and try to do better each week.

Love always,

Lili

Attitude Of Gratitude 💖

Gratitude is one of the most overlooked tools that we all have access to every day. Cultivating gratitude doesn’t cost any money and it certainly doesn’t take much time, but the benefits are enormous.

Did you know that just by being grateful you can shield yourself from negativity? One study shows that being grateful can instantly make you at least 25% happier, it rewires your brain, eliminates stress, strengthens your relationship with yourself and others and it increases your mental strength.

Not only that, but God wants to remind you that He wants you to focus on gratitude instead of focusing on the things that don’t seem to be working right in your life. He has promised us this; “And he who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious; and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundred fold, yea, more.” (D&C 78:19) How amazing that God has promised us that as we focus on gratitude, He will bless us with even more than what we have now.

The more we’re able to practice gratitude the more we will invite joy into our lives. And Practicing is the part that will really change our lives. So, how can you make this a part of your daily life? You can start first thing in the morning by thanking God for a new opportunity of having a new day, for your gifts and blessings. You can also have a gratitude journal to help you notice the daily blessings. Throughout the day you can have moments to just breathe and be in that feeling of gratitude. Or you can make it a point during your family dinner to say one thing you’re each thankful for. All of these things will invite joy into your life and the life of your loved ones and it will also add the physical and spiritual benefits of being grateful.

So, If you’ve been feeling stressed and overwhelmed please take a moment to stop what you’re doing, to have a second to just close our eyes and to take a few deep breaths….Just taking a moment to be thankful for this simple ability to take in a breath is all you need to focus on. With each breath that comes into our body we can experience deeper and deeper feelings of gratitude for all that we have and for all that we’ve received from God. We can allow those breaths to strengthen us and to renew and energize our body, our mind and our spirit. Remember, focus on your blessings. You’re in charge of controlling how you feel and what to focus on. Let it be for your benefit and for your inner peace.

The goal for this week is to be thankful DAILY ☀️When you start feeling stressed take a moment to count your blessings instead. Think about the simple gift of life. The way your body functions, the fact that you’re able to be on this earth today, that you can breathe, be here and present with everything that surrounds you. The more that you focus on those things the more you’ll bring peace into each moment. The more stress will disappear and you’ll be able to feel peaceful, joyful and instead focused on the abundant blessings that God has given you.

St. John 14: 18 says
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
One of the ways in which we can feel the comfort of God is by expressing gratitude to Him and by being willing to trust in the promise that He will never leave us comfortless. Gratitude will allow us to open our eyes to see more of the blessings that God has given us and in return It will allow us to strengthen our relationship with Him. To trust Him more and to believe in His will and goodness for our lives.

This will allow us to stop fearing and instead have more faith in Him and in ourselves. And once we’re able to do that we can then help Him to reach out to others in gratitude to testify of His goodness and to be a light and a blessing to those around us. We have to CHOOSE to live from a place of gratitude. This power is truly renewing and it will affect so many areas of our life.

The benefits of gratitude not only bring health and mental strength into our lives. It also adds confidence in God and in ourselves that will allow us to have a way more joyful, enjoyable and peaceful life. We will be better able to help ourselves and others on our journey, and it will remind us daily of the love of God. The choice is yours, let gratitude be your blessing today.

Hope that you can make it to class tonight at 7:00PM! Our goal is to release stress, strengthen our Body and renew our Mind and our Spirit through meditation & relaxation. If you feel like you need it, please motivate yourself to be there and to do something good like this for yourself today. It is a gift that will benefit YOU! You’ll leave feeling amazing and you won’t regret it. Plus, we’ll be able to see each other and to renew our energy together. Invite whoever you want & hope to see you there! ❤️🥰

Our spiritual goal for this week is to keep a gratitude journal or to express our gratitude daily and see how we feel after doing that for one week.

Our physical goal is to cut out the sugary drinks and to drink water instead. I challenge you to do only water for one week at least.

TODAY, FOCUS ON THE THINGS THAT MATTER MOST, BE GRATEFUL AND TAKE IT MOMENT AT A TIME. ONE CHOICE AT A TIME, ONE DAY AT A TIME. Love you and You’ve got this!

Love,

Lili 🌸

Trust In God & In Yourself 💖

Our life has a purpose. When God created each one of us, He had a plan in mind and a mission for us to accomplish. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” God wants us to be hopeful, to trust Him and to do our best to accomplish His plans for us. He’s not asking us to figure everything out, but instead He’s asking us to trust Him and to trust in His plan for our lives.

As we place our trust in Him & come closer to Him, our purpose will become clearer and He will be better able to guide us toward becoming who He desires us to become.

Having hope and faith in God brings us the power to act. We know that we can’t just wish for things to happen and that’s it. When we have faith in God, we gain a stronger desire to ACT. We’re more willing to put in the work necessary toward reaching who we are meant to be. God said; “Whatsoever thing ye shall ask the Father in my name, which is good, in Faith believing that ye shall receive, behold it shall be done unto you.” (Moroni 7:26)

God is ready to bless us if we have a pure heart, if we seek Him & ask Him, BELIEVING that we will receive. How amazing is that?!? This is where our faith is tested & where God is able to show Himself in our lives. Christ said; “If ye will have faith in me ye shall have power to do whatsoever thing is expedient in me.” (Moroni 7:33) That scripture promises us that we will have power through our faith to accomplish the desires of our heart. Desires that align with the love and the desires that God has for us too. So, with our Faith in God, we’re better able to see more clearly which goals we should focus on and actually move forward toward accomplishing them.

We can go to God daily & from Him receive wisdom and power to accomplish those things. We can then Act toward our goals taking the daily action to move closer to our goals. God will help us achieve our physical, spiritual, emotional or temporal goals. He knows what’s in our hearts and because He loves us and wants the best for us, HE WILL HELP US. TRUST HIM AND TRUST IN YOURSELF AND IN YOUR ABILITY TO DO THIS. ❤️

Having faith also allows us to act as if our goals are on their way. That belief and trust in God and in ourselves that we will make our goals possible with His help, will bring us the motivation that we need. Knowing that there’s a God who can help us changes everything! We can ask for daily wisdom to know what to focus on for this day, and we can move forward toward accomplishing that goal. Remember to start out with smaller goals that lead to the bigger goals. The more that we’re able to accomplish the small things the more momentum we will have to accomplish the bigger things. Practice seeing yourself accomplishing your daily goals. Visualize yourself doing it and having Gods help to achieve what is in your heart. feel yourself getting Healthier, stronger, becoming more peaceful, and accomplished. Your positive energy toward this is what truly makes the difference.

When you have those days when notice yourself comparing where you are to where you want to be, focus on this one question: “What single, small decision can I make right now to move forward in my process of becoming? Write down your thoughts and feelings and be aware of what comes to your mind. That’s one way you can know which action to take. Also, there may be times when we feel like giving up on our goals because we slipped or made a mistake. But remember to be kind to yourself, Don’t give up. Just take a moment to evaluate what led to the mistake or the negative thought and wether your process should be modified to help prevent it from happening in the future. If you know your goals are worth working toward you will keep trusting and moving forward them with faith in God.

Finally, Remember that rather than focusing solely on the outcome of the goal, put your energy into the process of becoming. In a process, every moment is important. You can enjoy feelings of small daily successes. You can learn from setbacks, rather than treating them as signs of failure. In a process of becoming you can find joy in each moment. You can be grateful for the opportunity to be a work in progress. You can remember to LOVE YOURSELF DAILY! And to be compassionate and speak kindly to yourself. You trust that as long as you are working the process, which is an essential part of exercising faith in God, reaching your goal will be the natural outcome.

So, make it a point today to re-evaluate your goals. Think about what you’re working toward and what God wants you to place as your top priorities. Align yourself to that knowledge and that desire to work toward the things which are important. Make a plan, start small, visualize and give yourself grace and the motivation that you need to accomplish each thing. If we want something we have to work toward it. Make it a pleasure to work on yourself daily and on your journey of becoming. Find joy in this journey and move forward trusting and having faith in God and in yourself.

With God all things are possible! You can do it! Count on Him, do your best & go for it. TRUST, ACT & BECOME.

Our SPIRITUAL GOAL for this end of the year is to accomplish some of those goals. Set 1 to 3 goals that you want to work toward. Break down the steps and set aside the time daily to act on them. Ask God in Faith to help you have the wisdom to know what to focus on & get to work. Continue to give yourself daily grace. You can do it! Plus, God has promised the POWER for you to accomplish it. Stay motivated and make it it happen.

Our PHYSICAL GOAL for the week is to exercise at least 3 days this week and to eat as clean as we can. Choose nutrient rich snacks and try to remove the sugary drinks. Try to be conscious of your choices and the different things that are going into your body. Make it easy for yourself by having healthy snacks available so you don’t get super hungry and reach for the bag of chips in the pantry. Make the decision, help yourself and track it if it helps you. You’ll notice the difference in your mood and energy. Your body will thank you for choosing good food.

We will have CLASS TONIGHT AT 7:00 pm! Come release stress, and do something awesome for your body, Mind and Spirit. Only YOU can do this for yourself. Make that promise to yourself and keep that promise. 🙂 That’s how you can continue to LOVE yourself more and more, by keeping your promises 😉 So, put on your workout clothes ahead of time and drive yourself to class, (That’s the hardest part) I promise that you’ll leave feeling AMAZING!!! Centered, peaceful and motivated to take on the week and accomplish your goals.

Hope to see you there and that you’re able to keep this message and goals in your heart. God will strengthen you & help you to accomplish them. Trust Him & DO YOUR BEST ONE DAY AT A TIME. ❤️

Love,

Lili

Rest For Our Soul

As we experience the challenges, difficulties and heaviness of the world around us, we realize that we really do have a choice.

We can either choose to allow more negativity to enter our minds and hearts, we can continue listening and believing the many voices of the world. Or instead, we can choose to have a moment to take some deep breaths, be more present in this very moment, slow down a little, focus on what we can control and most importantly TRUST IN GOD more than men or anything else in the world. ❤️

God has given us promises and tools to bring us inner peace and to truly bring rest to our souls. But the question is; Do we genuinely show God that we believe Him? & How willing are we to look within ourselves and to look toward God for inner peace and rest from the burdens we may be carrying?

Mathew 11:28-30 Says;

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest into your souls.

For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

God wants you to come to Him. He invites YOU! & guess what? you get to CHOOSE for yourself. He tells us that we can learn of Him, we can know Him better. & by doing so, we will learn that He is a GOOD GOD. A God who is never blind to our tears, who knows our individual pain and all of the difficulties we’re each going through. He is never deaf to our prayers and is always right there ready to comfort us in the way that we personally need it. So, please remember today that He Hears YOU! He sees You! He knows you and loves you more than you’ll ever know.

We all know that life is short and temporary. Each day really is a gift and a new opportunity that God gives us to do better. Do we want to be constantly triggered by all that is going on in the world around us?… Or do we want to gain more inner stability, peace and strength in God? He is ready to provide it to any who SEEK HIM. The more that we’re able to align ourselves to Him the less fear we will have in the world and the better we will be able to make choices and handle the difficult situations that may come into our lives.

With God we can do all things and with Him we are WAY MORE STRONGER, PEACEFUL AND STABLE. We all know that our world needs a little more of that. As our minds and hearts are more peaceful and stable we can be a light in the lives of our families, loved ones and the world around us.

So, remember He’s got you! & HE ALWAYS WILL. & You’ve got this! Because you trust in a loving God to take care of you daily. Come to Him & you will receive peace and rest. Focus on the light, love, peace and all the good that you find in TODAY and feel the difference. Where you choose yo put your focus daily really does matter. ❤️

Hope that you can make it to class tonight at 7:00pm to continue on your journey of strengthening your Body, Mind and Spirit. This is a little therapy for all of us. 🙂 So, make it happen for yourself and see the benefits from it.

Love,

Lili 🌸

One Day At A Time

Sometimes we rush through our days having so many distractions and responsibilities that we forget to slow down a little and enjoy just being in the moment.

Sadly, most of our thoughts end up stuck in the future or the past and by the time we know it, the day is gone and we’ve been focused on future or past thinking. Sometimes it feels like we’re on autopilot so much that we forget to have moments of being fully being present and engaged in each activity and each moment.

Slowing down and re-focusing our attention on the present moment takes practice. It’s not just a nice thought to have. It actually requires us to choose to practice each moment being fully there and fully present.

I believe that God created Day and night for a reason. Night time is our reminder to slow down, to rest, sleep and renew our minds and our bodies. A time for us to turn off the constant chatter of our thoughts, the stress and the distractions of our day and to allow ourselves to rest and recover.

I also believe that God our Father wants us to focus on taking in that sunrise as a way of seeing a new day as a new opportunity for us to choose that renewal for ourselves. A new opportunity to be more present and focused on today.

God doesn’t want us to run faster than we have strength, or to let our minds constantly dictate what we should think and do. We have the power each day and each moment to CHOOSE how to show up in this very moment. To check our thoughts and see if they’re helpful and useful for us. God wants us to choose to do those things that can bring light into our souls, peace to our minds, greater love to our hearts and health to our bodies.

He wants us to focus on taking things ONE DAY AT A TIME. The more that we’re able to enjoy the DAILY BLESSINGS, the “daily Bread” that God gives us & the daily energy and mercy that we’re able to receive from Him, the happier and more peaceful our days and lives will be.

One of the best ways to practice being present is to focus on our senses or 5,4,3,2,1. What do we see, name and notice the 5 things you see. 4 things you hear, 3 things you feel, 2 that you can smell and 1 thing to taste and focus on each sense. We practice this in class almost every week to help us bring our attention to the present. Creating opportunities to live present and to the fullest I’m this very moment.

The truth is that none of us know when our time on this earth will end. Yesterday my uncle suffered a heart attack 🙁 & its situations like that, which put life into perspective. None of us know what’s going to happen. So, trying to live each hour in the best way we can and being the most present is the best gift we can give to ourselves. To enjoy the breath we have at the moment we have it & to find gratitude in each day and hour is a huge gift that we can give to ourselves.

So, let’s practice making a conscious effort to enjoy each day, to give service, help others and most importantly to choose how to react to our thoughts. We can allow ourselves to feel our feelings and also choose to invite peace in that very moment to flow into our minds, body and spirit. Just remember that what we focus on really matters.

We can focus our mind on scriptures or positive affirmations when we need to lift our focus. For example saying to ourselves.

I am a daughter of God, divine light is within me and around me. I am aligned and supported by my Father in Heaven and All is well.

I am clear, focused and efficient in my work today.

I am peaceful, joyful and patient with my kids and friends.

I flow through the day with the spirit, ease and grace.

I listen for guidance and follow my inner voice.

I have all the time I need for all I need to do.

These are some of the examples of affirmations that help me. Having affirmations and scriptures that help us is so important for us to be able to take it one day at a time and really be able to enjoy our life. God has counseled us to take it one day at a time. So, let’s try to remember what He knows is wise for us.

Mathew 6:34

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take Thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

He wants us to remember to not worry about tomorrow. The things of tomorrow will work out the way they’re meant to and according to His will. He doesn’t want us to be so focused about Tomorrow, or what is ahead. instead He wants us to think about what we can do today. What challenges we have to overcome and to focus our energy on the present moment which is really the ONLY moment we can control.

So, I invite you to Trust in God and trust in His love. Trust that He will provide for you in His way and in His timing. Let go of those feelings of stress, anxiety and fear. Instead, trust in the being who created the universe and who knows the end from the beginning. The one who KNOWS YOU! The Power Of Contentment.

Have you noticed how easy it is to complain or be dissatisfied about the things or situations that you wish you had? Have you noticed how it makes you feel weighed down and negative?

This type of emotion can be triggered by something as simple as getting on social media and seeing the lifestyle’s or accomplishments of others. Even if we don’t notice, that type comparison affects us. Comparison truly is the thief of joy. It robs us of not only of our joy, but of our mental strength, energy and the ability to be grateful and in the moment.

I recently read that in the last 15 years they’ve been researching the effects of social media. The research found that “comparing ourselves to people who seem better off than us on social media can result in several negative psychological outcomes. It can be detrimental to our mental health, self-esteem, subjective well-being, and body image,” (Journal Media Psychology)

So, as always noticing and being aware of how we react to what we see, hear or the ways in which we spend our time can either help us or make us feel worse. If Social media makes you feel this way, then practice staying away from it or removing it from your daily practice. Instead change the habit and choose to do something more uplifting and positive with your time. Once you catch yourself feeling distracted or discontented from it, remember to make the change for your own well being.

The reason that practicing contentment is so important for us is because it brings power in the sense that when we’re grateful we feel more calm, peaceful and centered. Contentment also brings a sense of joy for what one possess. Someone who experiences contentment is happy and satisfied but also willing to put forth great effort to move forward toward their goals.

A complacent person on the other hand, is satisfied but puts forth little to no effort to move closer to their goals. Sadly, many people think that contentment is the same thing as complacency. And that is incorrect. We can choose to be content with our circumstances and still willing to move ourselves forward coming from a place of security in ourselves, God and the divine callings and gifts within us to move forward toward the destination that God has for our lives.

There’s a scripture that I love which says;

But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world.

But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content.

But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. (1 Timothy 6:6-9)

I love how he talks about godliness with contentment is great gain. It’s amazing what we can accomplish if we are able to come to God and look for His guidance throughout our lives. Expressing gratitude for what He has given us and moving forward with God as our guide and the security that He gives us.

I also love the reminder of the fact that we brought nothing into the world and will take nothing with us. Sometimes spending our time looking for “more” is something that will only satisfy a temporary comfort. It’s not lasting it’s not of eternal consequence.

Instead, building a relationship with God, will be something that we can take with us. The relationships, the wisdom and the way we use our time on this earth are of greater importance than comparing ourselves to others or trying to compete or “gain more” which can lead us to be distracted from the things of true importance.

So, today I invite you to find power in being content in a Godly way. Disconnect from social media if you have to and instead focus on feeling gratitude for what you’re able to have today.

Remind yourself that you are beautiful inside and out, that you are enough. Allow your possessions to be enough, your home to be enough, your family and friends to be enough.

Embrace the beautiful gift of this moment in time. To simply be in the joy of what you are blessed to have today. To love your life, right where you are at right now, remember that we become hole in our brokenness, in our gratitude and in our acceptance of what is.

The best gift we can give to ourselves is to be in the moment, and to find joy in it. We can give big thanks for what we have, understanding that even the pain, the striving and the smallness that we feel sometimes can allow us to become whole. & It’s because of our creator that we become truly whole and we’re able to understand that we are in his hands and we can let go of the rest. We can realize that we can have contentment and honor him for what He has given us to move forward with faith trusting Him and honoring him.

So, say to yourself today “ I focus on the incredible abundance and beauty that surrounds me now. I accept what is and I don’t judge it or analyze it but instead, I allow gratitude to pour freely over my soul.

I choose to love my life just as it is. Especially as it is, and I celebrate with God the gift of my life.”

Hope that you can feel that power flowing through you today. This is our goal for the week. So hopefully we can choose to invite more of this into our lives and choosing to bring that power into your life daily.

Our physical goal is to let go of sugary drinks for and to move our body each day for at least 30 mins. 🙂

I hope to see you in class tonight at 7pm to strengthen your body, mind and spirit.

Love,

Lili 🌸

Love Over Fear

I choose Faith over anxiety, hope over worry and love over fear.

These words can serve us in two ways: As an affirmation and as a practice. When fears arise, affirmations and our breathing can move us gently toward the light even as we face the darkness. They make us mindful of our thoughts and our choice to be able to direct them with faith and hope. Choosing to do this over and over again is the practice. When worries settle in, we always have the choice to look at them through the eyes of love or the eyes of God. Instead of allowing fear and negative thoughts to take over.

When we feel stressed and overwhelmed we can close the door to the outside world and instead make our thoughts and emotions known to God. I promise you that He does hear and answer every prayer of your heart. Maybe not always in the timing we would like, but HE does answer. He did it for me this week. He answered me with LOVE. & just as He answered me with love, I know He will do the same for anyone who seeks Him. ❤️

As we’re willing to surrender our challenges to Him with a brave, willing, patient and open heart. Trusting in the God of Love. The creator of our souls. We will see that He will remove the stress and anxiety from our hearts. We have to practice leaning on HIM & Not leaning on our challenges or on ourselves to try to control our situations. Instead, we can pray to be able to accept those things we can’t control and be more willing to hand them to God. Allowing Him to then remind us of the things we can control. Making it possible for ourselves to invite God to guide us each day and replace all of the heaviness we feel with HIS LOVE, LIGHT & PEACE. ❤️

The LOVE OF GOD is the greatest gift in the world. Just to know that you are loved by God, allows you to remove any anything else that makes you feel unhappy, anxious or stressed. Because the love of God fills and covers your heart and soul with peace. It brings an assurance that everything will be ok. The soul that is able to trust in God, is able to gain way more strength to overcome the challenges of life than those who place the trust on themselves.

It’s completely up to us to CHOOSE to exercise our spiritual muscles daily & to focus on His love. ❤️ It’s up to us to choose to place our TRUST ON HIM with everything that happens in our lives and to know and believe that with HIS HELP we truly can overcome all things.❤️

So, Today I invite you to say to yourself as often as you need to; “I choose faith, Hope and Love and when I do, my anxiety, worries and fears dissolve. My focus becomes centered on the highest good for my soul. I believe that all things are possible as I place my trust on the amazing love of a God who is ALL GOOD, ALL KNOWING, ALL POWERFUL & ALL LOVING.”

Let’s trust in His never ending love and blessings and let’s remind ourselves that that He walks the path of life with us and He will carry us through air all. ❤️ Let’s make it a point to have the thoughts of our mind and soul today, come from a place of LOVE. Love for God, Love for ourselves individually and Love for others. ❤️ TODAY I CHOOSE FAITH, HOPE AND LOVE.

That is our Spiritual Goal for the week: To move from moment to moment breathing as deeply as we need to. Inviting ourselves to choose Love, Faith and Hope. Being compassionate to ourselves and others, and inviting God to be with us to guide our thoughts and actions from one moment to the next.

Our Physical Goal for the week: Is to give ourselves the right nutrition, movement and rest that our bodies need to be able to function their best each day. Remember to come from a place of love in how you treat, nourish and take care of yourself.

Tonight at 7pm Let’s choose to give ourselves more of that love ❤️ By making time for ourselves to disconnect from all the other things going on & to instead come together as sisters to release stress and do something amazing for our Body, Mind and Spirit. We all need it during these times. 😌🙏🏼💖 & It will feel SO Good to do this for ourselves.

If anyone feels that the physical portion of the class is not for you, but you’d like to come meditate with us, just show up at 8pm with your mat and meditate with us! 😍 it feels amazing & it will recharge us all so much! 🧘🏻‍♀️🌅

We all need to give ourselves the best activities we can, to help us strengthen ourselves physically, mentally and spiritually. Hope that you can make it and leave feeling AMAZING & connected to God and to yourself in a way deeper level. 💛

Remember to focus on loving yourself, on giving yourself the best nutrition and on allowing yourself to have moments of peace and quiet to recharge your energy and your connection to God. Take deep breaths, calm your thoughts and turn them into Love toward God, to yourself and to others. This will allow you to handle the challenges of life with a perspective that’s more aligned to God and where you’ll be able to focus more on His divine love for you, rather than on fear, stress or anxiety. God loves you! ❤️ keep trusting, believing and choosing Faith, Hope & Love. You’ve got this! 😘❤️

The Power Of Focused Thoughts.

Do you have those days when you feel like everything is going too fast and you can’t seem to keep up? Those days when you notice you’ve been distracted by too many things and you realize that you had no focus to your day?

I think we can all relate when we’re able to recognize the days that we’re being fully distracted by other things and not able to focus on the truly important things.

The first step in wanting to change anything in our lives is to be able to have awareness and recognize what we may not be doing correctly. So, today I want to encourage you to take a moment to recognize your distractions. To write down or figure out the ways that you will remove those distractions so that you may be able to focus on the truly important things.

Removing our distractions will help us to invite more focused attention to each task that we want to complete. Of course It’s important to recognize and remove the distractions but it is also important to give power to those things that we would rather focus on. Those things that we know are good for us, and that will allow us to feel happy about the way we spend our time and energy.

There is power in a focused thought. God reminds us to keep our thoughts on things are good and that bring peace. He reminds us that what we focus on grows, and what we invite we attract. That’s why He wants us to focus our thoughts on better things.

Philippians 4:8 tells us Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

He reminds us to have our thoughts focused on things that are uplifting, pure, lovely and that will direct our thoughts to Him. We can dedicate each task of our day to God. Even something as simple as cleaning our home can be dedicated to Him. It can be done with focused attention and feelings of gratitude for what we are able to do.

Today I am motivating myself, and I hope to encourage you as well, to focus our thoughts on things that are uplifting and good. For each task that we work on today let’s try to do it by first, dedicating that task to God and asking Him to help us accomplish it. Let’s feel grateful for the opportunity to focus on this task and for the health that we have to do it.

*Make a list with our to do’s and pray for guidance to know the top 3 things that we should focus on.

*Let’s focus on recognizing and eliminating our distractions. Leaving the phone in another room or turning off the TV are all ways to remove those things that may distract us.

*Set a 25 minute timer to focus on each task and take a 5 minute break at the end of each 20 minute session to celebrate what you’ve been able to do during those 20 mins. A 5 minutes break f feels great! Even if it’s to step outside for a minute or drink some water. 🙂

*End each session by taking a moment to notice how you feel after completing it. Allow yourself to feel gratitude for having been able to focus on the task. The more positive we are at viewing each task and visualizing each accomplishment, the better we will feel while doing it. 😉

Finally, practicing mindfulness is another great opportunity to create better focus. Sometimes we tend to do things with other distractions around us. For example, we may listen to a podcast while we are cleaning or listening to music etc.. All of those things can be great sometimes, but it’s also important for us to have moments when we turn everything off and when you’re able to fully focus on the task in silence. This is called mindfulness.

If you’re able to practice being in the moment, noticing what you are touching, smelling, hearing, feeling etc you’ll be able to notice how your focus will sharpen as you give yourself moments to practice mindfulness during your day. Sometimes just washing the dishes for example, just being in the moment. Swelling the soap, feeling the water etc are all things that we do “robotically” without noticing or just being in the moment. Practicing mindfulness is incredibly beneficial to our mind. The more we practice the better we will feel.

I know that God wants us to strengthen our minds, as well as our bodies and our spirits and I want to remind all of us that our mind and our spirit are very much connected. What we think about we become. Choosing to align ourselves to God, to hear His words, to pray to Him, to make our thoughts, focused, higher, uplifted, and positive will bless our lives in unimaginable ways.

Our goal for this week is to practice focused attention. Even if it’s only 20 minutes at a time. The more that we practice, remove distractions and invite good thoughts, the more we will be able to develop a habit of mastering our attention. We will be able to focus more on all that is good for ourselves, our families and those around us.

Hope to see you tonight in class at 7pm to give ourselves some love and to take care of strengthening our body mind and spirit & leave feeling peaceful, uplifted and renewed. 🙂

Love,

Lili 🌸
